The only downside we’ve come across is the computability of this CPU with Intel 600 Series chips. As this CPU sits on an LGA 1700 socket, you’ll need a new motherboard.

We tested this CPU in one of our old desktops with an LGA 1200 socket motherboard. In order to measure the multitasking performance of this CPU, we opened several programs at the same time.
